2020 Day Tours

We hope you are all fit and well and healthy during these trying times with this colossal virus outbreak. At present we are all feeling good at Holiday Coast Tours and with preventative measures introduced, we intend to stay that way. Our biggest concern is obviously what is happening in our beloved travel industry.

At the present moment we have postponed all tours up until the end of May – these include our day tours to 1) Eungai Buffalo Farm & Scott’s Head and 2) Cundletown Museum and Manning Surrounds - we will re-schedule them for future dates. Our Extended tours to Man from Snowy River and Sydney Vivid Lights have been re-scheduled to 2021 and at the moment we are creating new dates and itineraries.

Tours still scheduled depending on the status of the virus are:

  1. Spirit of the Outback
  2. Bounty Week Norfolk Island and
  3. Cape York

We feel that day tours in June & July will go ahead as scheduled – fingers crossed. We are working on projects from then on and into 2021 so its full steam ahead as far as we are concerned. Our office phone lines and email are open for contact however our office should be avoided at the present time with social distancing and limited contact. Stay at home is the advice given.

Now – what are we doing about all deposits that all you lovely people have paid. As I stated we are re-scheduling tours that have been affected to 2021 and hope that you will all still be able to travel. We are working with all our suppliers where we have pre-paid inclusions to give us credit against these postponed activities, flights, trains and accommodation. As you can imagine we will not know the full extent of these requests until this terrible situation has subsided. We are trying to protect you, our valued clients, with minimal loss of any monies paid. Of course at this point we are unable to give any refunds until we have a clear picture of what will be available to us.

From a business point of view we are suffering greatly but we are working closely with the Government Departments and Financial Institutions on packages which will give us flexibility in these times and the future.

We are being very pro-active during these quiet travel times and want to be ready to encourage you to come travelling with us again as soon as the ALL CLEAR is given. In fact, I think the tourist industry slogan “Holiday Here” produced after our horrific bushfire season has just grown stronger.

Yes, we are a small business and yes after all these years of having had your support in all forms of travel, we look forward to it again and cant wait to unleash the steering wheel and brakes to again enjoy your company on what we do best – touring!!

Please stay in touch with us as we will with you and keep happy, healthy and safe.

Fondest regards from the team at Holiday Coast Tours and all associated travel outlets – Port Travel, Camden Haven Travel, Wauchope Travel, TS Travel Wingham and Helloworld Nambucca
